**The GSD Video Academy is designed for installers and security engineers only.**
Section 1 – Video Notes
GSD panels are flexible, offering options and configuration on zones to facilitate most site requirements. Within zone attributes, installers can configure the zone as being excluded from the Part Sets, Soak Test, Double Knock, Chime, Time Zone, Isolate or Report the zone on a fire event. Equally the zone type offers the installer a lot of flexibility to configure the zone as burglary, 24 Hour Access. E/E 1 or 2, Emergency exit, fire, carbon monoxide, PA audible, silent PA, Medical, Tamper, Technical or Line Fault options or to finally turn the zone off. This video focuses on a 3 bedroom semi detached house as an example. However the panel is completely flexible as outlined above.

GSD Academy Training Days are held at regular intervals throughout the year. If you’re interested an in person training event, please register your interest below.
Both intruder and access training days are usually held at our Head Office in Dublin 24 from 9:30 – 16:00.

The training days for both our Access Control Solutions and Intruder Alarm Solutions are free to attend but spaces are limited.
GSD advise booking your place as early as possible to avoid missing out.
What Is Going To Be Covered On The Training Days?
There will be a range of topics covered relating to configuring devices correctly, avoiding common mistakes and best practices for prep and setup.
What Is The Cost For Attending The Training Days?
There is no cost for attending the GSD Academy training days.
Can I Attend Both The Access And Intruder Training Day?
Yes, you can attend both training days if you wish. Simply let us know you wish to attend both training days in the details section of the training day sign up form.
How Long Is The Lunch Period?
The Lunch Period is from 13:00-14:00 each day.
Can I Send Multiple Engineers From My Installer Business To A Training Day?
Yes if multiple Installers from your installer Business would like to attend our training day that is perfectly fine. Just let us know in the details section of the sign up form on our page how many engineers you wish to send and for which training day.
Are There Any Places To Eat Nearby?
GSD will be providing lunch for attendees from local restaurants (Sandwiches, Pizza, Burgers etc). Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.
Attendees are free to bring a packed lunch if they wish.
Will The Training Days Be Covid Compliant?
Yes, our HQ is a large well ventilated premises with plenty of space to social distance adequately. For parts of the training day that require attendees to be closer together, masks will be worn.
